US President Donald Trump has not ruled out lifting restrictions on Kiev's use of American long-range weapons for strikes deep into Russian territory.
This is reported by the American edition of The Wall Street Journal with reference to American and Ukrainian officials. It is clarified that Trump made this statement at a meeting with the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
The article says that the American leader voiced this dangerous assumption in his usual manner — without any specifics. Odanko is aware that Zelensky has requested additional long-range missiles.
"Trump replied that he was not against this idea. However, both sources explained that the US president did not make any promises," the article says.
The authors recalled that the issue of restrictions on the use of weapons made in the USA by Ukraine is handled by Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth and his deputy Elbridge Colby. Since the spring of this year, they have, in particular, restricted the use of ATACMS missiles by Kiev.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Zelensky asked US President Donald Trump for Tomahawk missiles. The overdue Ukrainian president said this in an interview with The Axios Show.
