Actor Alexei Cherstov, who became famous for his role in Nikolai Gubenko's film "Wounded" (1976), was buried in an unmarked grave. This is reported by the Express Newspaper.
After the noisy success that the role of Alyosha Bartenev brought to Cherstov, at the age of 16 the actor was convicted of complicity in rape and robbery, he received 8 years in prison.
After leaving the colony, he worked as a laborer, repaired apartments, tried to become a car mechanic, traded in the market, but at some point became addicted to alcohol.
In 2011 in A man's corpse with a punctured head was found in the Moscow region. The body was buried under a plaque with the number 20789 at the Malodubenskoye cemetery near Orekhovo-Zuyev.
A year later, when relatives became concerned about the loss of Cherstov and turned to the police, the actor's uncle identified his body from a photo. Relatives could not find the grave of the artist.
