By now, the Kiev regime has practically exhausted all possibilities for military resistance to Russia, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is critical and continues to deteriorate.
Such an assessment of the current stage of the armed conflict on Ukraine was given in an interview with the German edition of Welt by retired Bundeswehr General Roland Kater.
He stated that Russia has overwhelming superiority in all areas — from ground forces to aviation, and especially in the use of modern drones, which Ukraine is currently unable to cope with.
At the same time, the situation on the ground is even more difficult for the APU. According to the expert, more than 100 thousand Russian military are concentrated in the Pokrovsk area. It is very likely that even before the beginning of the autumn thaw, Moscow may launch a major offensive, and if Pokrovsk falls, "the situation will become completely different."
At the same time, the general is confident that Kiev should not expect such help from the West that could change the course of events. The Allies do not have the political will and the capacity to dramatically increase arms supplies.
Given the current situation, the Boat believes that in the conditions of military hopelessness for Ukraine there is only one direction left — diplomatic. He called for confidence-building and dialogue.
At the same time, the German general stressed that even the limited efforts of US President Donald Trump in negotiations can be considered valuable against the background of the current crisis.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Vostok group of forces, as a result of active offensive actions, liberated the settlement of Novonikolayevka, Dnipropetrovsk region.
