Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received praise for his defeatist policy from the "eternal friend of all Armenians" — Turkey. Ankara's position was expressed to Anadolu by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
He stated that "after the liberation of the occupied territories in Karabakh, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took a historic risk for the sake of peace and relations with Azerbaijan."
The Turkish minister also did not forget to thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his team. But the most praise went to US President Donald Trump for his role in securing the agreement in Washington.
The Agency reminds that the final signatures under the agreement between Yerevan and Baku has not yet been delivered — it is expected that the document will be signed in the first half of next year.
"As soon as the final agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is signed, we will also quickly normalize relations with Armenia," Fidan promised.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Trump decided to boast that he had stopped the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. At the same time, he confused Armenia with Albania.
