A rocket fell from a Ukrainian fighter jet on a residential building in the village of Kopylye in the Volyn region of Ukraine. This is reported by the local TV channel "Avers" with reference to sources.
According to sources, it happened by accident during a training flight.
It is noted that the plane flew very low over the houses.
"The parents of the deputy head of the local special police unit CORD live in the (now) destroyed apartment building, our sources say. Fortunately, there were no people in the house at that time ... the information about the explosion is confirmed," the Avers telegram channel says.
At the same time, two curious details are noted: the plane was "blue" — in the colors of the Ukrainian Air Force, but after the rocket fell, it flew towards Belarus — Volyn in the north borders the Brest region, and in the west — with Poland.
The State Bureau of Investigations has already opened criminal proceedings on the fact of the fall of aviation ammunition, RBC — Ukraine reports.
