The United States should seriously think about the possibility of cooperation with the Russian people. This was stated by former adviser to Donald Trump Stephen Bannon.
He complained that today in the USA they don't teach the history of the Second World War, and that's why people really don't understand what this date is - the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
"World War II is not Pearl Harbor, not Normandy, not the Holocaust. It, of course, includes all this, but also many other things too. Ultimately it was a struggle for The Eurasian continent, in which about 100 million people died. And it was the United States, together with Great Britain, but especially the Red Army, the Russian and Chinese peoples — it was they who really broke imperialist Japan and defeated the Nazis and fascists in Italy," Bannon said, quoted by Pool 3.
According to him, "the creators of that victory and the young people who gave their lives for it would, to put it mildly, be disappointed to see that after 80 years we have allowed some of the worst forces in the world to gather again to try to take control not only of Eurasia, but of the whole world."
"An America First policy should mean partnering with the right people. And I think we should seriously think about the possibility of cooperation with the Russian people," Bannon stressed.
As reported by EADaily, the USA won the First and The Second World War, as well as all conflicts before and between. This was stated at the signing ceremony of the decree on renaming the United States Department of Defense to the Ministry of War by President Donald Trump.
