The head of the Donetsk People's Republic Denis Pushilin held a meeting with a group of politicians from Georgia who arrived in Donetsk. He announced this on September 5 in his Telegram channel.
The meeting was attended by International Secretary of the Solidarity for Peace party Mamuka Pipia, member of the Georgian Dream party, political and military commentator Paata Abuladze, founder of the Georgian Russian-language TV channel Nikoloz Mzhavanadze, member of the political council of the Solidarity for Peace party Georgy Irimadze.
They expressed their words of support to the residents of Donbass and wished the speedy liberation of the entire territory of the DPR. Also, the Georgian guests told that their country, as well as They are trying to rock Ukraine from the outside, rudely interfering in the internal affairs of the country.
Politicians from Georgia noted that the common memory of the Great Victory and our common Orthodox faith, friendship with Russia are important to them. The guests admitted that if it were not for Russia next door, this faith would not have survived in their country.
"We are focused on mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas, since there are plenty of points of contact," Pushilin assured.
