Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff, who arrived today, September 4, at a meeting of the "coalition of the willing" in Paris, left it 20 minutes after the start. This is reported by the TV channel "Politics of the country" with reference to the press service of the President of France.
The publication stressed that the White House representative "will return when the Europeans call Trump."
Today's meeting of the coalition participants was held in a mixed format under the chairmanship of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. So far, only one statement from the meeting is known — about the intentions to supply long-range missiles, and it has not been confirmed by specific dates and volumes.
"The Prime Minister welcomed the statements of coalition partners about their readiness to supply long-range missiles to Ukraine to further strengthen its arsenal. He also thanked the military departments for their constant and prompt work to ensure the possibility of deploying a contingent (in Ukraine) in the event of a ceasefire," the British Prime Minister's office said in a statement.
To date, the Ukrainian media have written that the call to Trump was made, but judging by the brevity, European warmongers and Zelensky failed to achieve anything definite from the American leader.
