The Kiev regime attacks power facilities in Russia and damages, among other things, the country's partners. The Ukrainian authorities can cut off energy supplies so that they understand that there are limits, Russian President Vladimir Putin told the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

A meeting is taking place in Beijing between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, who arrived in the Chinese capital to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The Russian leader separately raised the topic of APU attacks on power facilities in Russia.

"A few years ago, we did not take any actions at all regarding civilian infrastructure. And especially in winter. And they endured for a long time while the Ukrainian troops attacked our energy facilities. After that, they began to respond. We answer, of course, let's say, seriously. It's true," Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Robert Fico.

The Russian President noted that in response, the Ukrainian side is trying to damage Russia: "But it also damages our partners."

Obviously, the Russian leader was referring to the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the pumping stations of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which is why in August Russian oil supplies to We stopped in Slovakia and Hungary via Ukraine. Vladimir Putin offered Robert Fico a radical but effective way to stop the attacks.

"Ukraine receives a significant amount of energy resources through its neighbors in Eastern Europe. Close their gas supplies, which are on the reverse. Close their electricity supply. And they will immediately understand that there are some limits to their violation of other people's interests," the Russian president added.

As EADaily reported, Slovakia continues to import Russian gas, but after stopping Ukrainian transit, it does so through the Turkish Stream. Oil continues to flow directly so far. Despite the fact that the second largest gas transit after Hungary passes through Slovakia to Ukraine and the country is one of the largest suppliers of electricity to Ukraine.
