The Russian Armed Forces continue to liberate the territory of the Zaporozhye region. This was stated by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation — commander of the Joint Grouping of Troops (forces) in the special operation zone, Army General Valery Gerasimov, summing up the spring-summer offensive campaign.
According to him, the troops of the Vostok group took control of two settlements — Malinovka and Temirovka.
"The troops of the Dnepr grouping, developing an offensive in the Orekhovsky direction, captured six settlements in the Zaporozhye region — Kamenskoye, Pyatikhatki, Stepovoye, Malye Shcherbaki, Shcherbaki, Pubkovoye. They are actively engaged in the liberation of Stepnogorsk, Malaya Tokmachka and Smoother," said the head of the General Staff.
As reported by EADaily, today 74% of Zaporozhye and 76% of Kherson regions are under the control of Russian troops. This was stated by the head of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.
