During the offensive operations, Russian units from the North group of forces took control of part of the highways leading to the settlement of Khat North of the Kharkiv region.
This was told to the TASS news agency by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources. He explained that in this way the supply routes of the group of armed formations of Ukraine, which is stationed in this village and its surroundings, were cut.
"The grouping of the armed formations of Ukraine, which settled in Khatneh, in the near future may be in a very bad situation. Since the road that goes north-west from Khatni is already under our fire control," the veteran said.
He said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this area also have a south-western highway, which, although with difficulty, is used by Ukrainian militants for supply and rotation. However, here, too, our military is working to cut logistics routes.
"Another road has already been physically taken under our full control, a small section of the highway has been cut. This is a road east of the Great Forest or south-east of Khatni," the expert stated.
Earlier, EADaily reported that according to Ukrainian sources, Russian troops advanced at the junction of the Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions near the settlement of Temirovka.
