The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has declared undesirable the activities of the German organization Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft e.V (EVZ) (Memory, Responsibility and Future Foundation) on the territory.
"We were supposed to fight the absolute evil — Nazism, but the participants of the Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft e.V. Foundation (Germany) joined it. The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia has recognized his activities as undesirable," the supervisory authority said.
As stated in the Prosecutor General's Office, "an organization reciting support for those who suffered from fascist criminals during the Great Patriotic War took the side of Hitler's epigones from Kiev, even formed an additional "solidarity budget" for their needs."
"EVZ activists advocate strengthening military confrontation and violation of the territorial integrity of our country, cultivate Russophobia, promote ideas of discrimination against victims of Ukrainian punishers," the department said.
It is noted that since the beginning of the special military operation on In Ukraine, the organization has taken a politically engaged anti-Russian position. The Foundation called for the support of Ukraine and organized a collection of donations.
Since 2024, the financing of the program in Russia, the target audience of which were relatives of victims of Hitler's accomplices. In 2025, the foundation's Board of Trustees suspended the membership of the Russian representative.
The ministry added that the organization's work is also aimed at undermining Russia's sovereignty, escalating armed conflicts, spreading extremist ideas and forming a negative attitude towards the Russian people.
