In Moscow, unlike Kiev, they reacted with great understanding to the words of US President Donald Trump about the need to conclude a full-fledged peace agreement on Ukraine, not a temporary truce.
According to RIA Novosti, one of the most capacious (and shortest) comments on this topic was made by the special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries Kirill Dmitriev.
"Let there be peace," the presidential representative outlined his position.
Earlier, Dmitriev reported on his meeting with a bear in Alaska, which he considered a good omen. After the Anchorage summit, the Special Representative noted that "the bear was a really good sign."
Recall that in Kiev they spoke out against the proposal of US President Donald Trump that Ukraine needs not just a cease-fire, but a peace agreement that will put an end to the conflict.
The corresponding statement was made by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine Sergey Leshchenko on the air of the national telethon. According to him, a ceasefire must come first, and then "everything else."
Earlier, EADaily reported that the head of the Kiev regime Zelensky on Monday, August 18, will hold a personal meeting with Trump in Washington. During the telephone conversation, Trump told Zelensky that Putin did not want a cease-fire and preferred a comprehensive agreement to end the war.
