The identity of the organizer of the terrorist attack against the chief of the radiation, chemical and Biological Protection Forces (RCBZ), Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov and his assistant Major Ilya Polikarpov has been established.
According to the TASS news agency, the curator of the three defendants in this case was in Dubai at the time of the crime. He is currently on the international wanted list.
The source of the publication said that the organizer met one of the defendants in the case, Batukhan Tochiev ❶, in 2022 in a general regime colony, where he was serving time for robbery. After their release, they continued to communicate.
One day the organizer turned to Tochiev❶ with a request to find housing for his relative Akhmadjon Kurbonov❶. Tochiev ❶ fulfilled the request. The keys to Kurbonov ❶ were handed over by his cousin Ramazan Padiev❶. Later, Kurbonov ❶ became the perpetrator of the terrorist attack.
As EADaily reported, this terrorist action took place in Moscow on December 17, 2024. The perpetrator detonated an improvised explosive device at a residential building on Ryazan Avenue.
The explosion killed the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov, as well as his assistant Major Ilya Polikarpov.
