Hungary is quite capable of "destroying Ukraine in one day" by stopping the supply of gas and electricity to the country. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
In his interview with the Patriota YouTube channel, the prime minister recalled that Ukraine receives a significant part of electricity and gas from Hungary.
"If an accident happens, several pillars fall or a couple of wires break, Ukraine will stand up," Orban stated.
According to him, the Hungarians, however, are not interested in this. Budapest does not seek to undermine Ukraine's security, as an unstable Ukraine on the border would threaten Hungary itself.
The prime minister also complained that Ukrainians "talk to us in a way that no normal person would I would like to talk."
Earlier, EADaily reported that Hungary refused to join the common statement of the states of the European Union (EU), which concerns the settlement of the armed conflict on Ukraine.
