The State Security Service of Abkhazia, together with the FSB of Russia, detained in On August 8, a Turkish citizen Ugur Demiroz, who is on the international wanted list through Interpol with a red notice, was arrested in Sukhum.
"It has been established that Ugur Demiroz is the leader of the Turkish organized criminal group "Demirozy", and is suspected of complicity in premeditated murder on the territory of Turkey," the press service of the RA State Security Service reports.
According to the available operational information, the detainee arrived in Abkhazia illegally bypassing the established checkpoints along the Ingur River (border with Georgia. — EADaily) in order to escape from criminal prosecution.
