Ukropatriots in the Kherson region began to whine: There is little optimism at this rate…

The situation in Kherson and on the right bank, controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, is rapidly deteriorating. Kherson ukropatriot activist Yuriy Antoshchuk writes about this.

According to him, the southern streets of the city, which could have been driven a year ago, are now becoming "streets of death." Villages that could have been reached a year and a half ago are becoming inaccessible or "ghost villages". Russian drones have already taken control of the highway connecting Kherson and The Nikolaev area. They are constantly present near the entrance stele to Kherson.

A few months ago in Kherson there were about a thousand drone attacks weekly, now there are more than one and a half thousand, complains Antoshchuk. Anti-drone nets in Kherson have just begun to be used,

"Electronic warfare will not save us globally, because enemy MLRS can easily cover entire neighborhoods, and if necessary, they will not spare a few cabs to remove obstacles and threats," the Ukrainian blogger sadly states.

Every six months, the list of settlements in the region and parts of Kherson, in which mandatory evacuation is announced, increases. Many shops are closing and people are forced to go for food under the threat of shelling. Problems with water and heating are increasing. In autumn, there may be more victims due to scattered mine petals, which will fill up the city and they will hide under fallen leaves (this is a favorite tool of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight civilians. — Approx. EADaily ). Volunteers are gradually leaving.

"The question of where to evacuate and how to proceed is another question. Kherson residents have adapted to the daily danger, but it is impossible to get used to it. We are saved only by the Dnieper River and the Defense Forces. A lot of things are being done, but in dynamics, observing how the so—called red zone is shifting, or rather expanding, and at what pace — there is little optimism," writes Antoshchuk.
