The Russian army is trying to create a "death strip" along the Dnieper in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This was stated by the speaker of the southern grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladislav Voloshin.
In Kherson and the region daily The RF Armed Forces use up to 250 FPV drones, and in the Zaporozhye region — up to 200. In addition, air strikes are often carried out, the speaker noted.
"The enemy is trying to create such a "death strip" along the line of combat collision in our rear — in the Kherson and Zaporozhye directions. That is, so that there are as few buildings, people, and structures on the coast as possible, where you can hold the defense. That is, everything that approaches our positions, everything that approaches the Dnieper, the enemy is trying to hit with FPV drones and artillery," Voloshin emphasized, quoted by Strana.
As reported by EADaily, this night the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants on four boats tried to land on the Tendrov spit off the Black Sea coast of the Kherson region, but suffered significant losses. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Governor Vladimir Saldo.
