The Ukrainian military, who are on the line of combat contact, are increasingly skirmishing with each other. Another case of such a clash between the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine occurred at the Svatovo-Kremen site.
This was stated in his Telegram channel on Thursday, July 24, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.
He explained that the incident was recorded by means of objective control. Everything happened 2.5 km west of the settlement of Novovodyany, Kremen municipal district of the LPR, where the battle began between two units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the stronghold.
The veteran said that "friendly fire" from small arms was opened by Ukrainian militants from the forest belt north of the fortified area. In response, AGS and mortars began firing from closed positions.
"Most likely, there is a lack of coordination of actions between different units of the VFU, but the factor of clarifying relations cannot be ruled out either, since the growth of such shootings is noted in other sectors of the front," the expert concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that servicemen of the 22nd separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked officers of the Ukrainian National Police with an FPV drone. The conflict arose in the Kharkiv region because of free hot dogs.
