German officers tried to detain Polish volunteers from the "Border Protection Movement," said Polish nationalist Robert Bokkiewicz.
The situation occurred in the town of Krzewina Zgorzelecka on the Polish side of the border. According to Bokkevich, the German police shouted:
"Halt, polen!" (from German. — "Stop, Pole!").
Bokkevich emotionally commented:
"It looks like Germany is not holding back the pressure."
He later said that he arrived at the scene around 2 a.m. He described the behavior of the German services as provocative and aggressive, specifying that they used bright lights to blind the Poles.
However, the German police rejected these accusations, inviting Polish journalists to send more detailed information about the alleged situation, especially the time and place.
