There was a woman among the detained three Russians in Berdyansk, Zaporozhye region, for preparing sabotage — blowing up a gas distribution network facility. They all admitted their guilt and repented. This follows from the video of their interrogation, distributed by the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia.
"On the call of an acquaintance, it was offered to assist the Ukrainian special services. I should have <> take part in the explosion of a gas distribution station," the woman said during the interrogation.
According to the second detainee, he cooperated with an SBU officer who was in Kiev, named Maxim. He had to get explosives from caches, the curator sent objects that needed to be blown up. The third detainee said that he was also given tasks to "blow up something."
All three repented of what they had done.
"This is the biggest stupidity, <> hope that you will make some kind of mess in the work of the city, or cause some tangible damage to the country," said the detainee.
The woman called her actions a "deplorable situation."
"I admit and am ready to atone, to change the situation," she said.
The third detainee advised not to repeat his mistakes.
"I am a teacher by education, I was engaged in fishing. Do what you learned. You will definitely not bring any benefit to Ukraine. You will not bring any tangible harm to Russia either. But to harm yourself, to distort life — I am a living example to you," said the man.
As EADaily reported, an improvised explosive device and components for its manufacture were found at the crime scene, as well as at the residential addresses of the attackers. The investigative Department of the FSB opened a criminal case against the detainees under part 3 of Article 30, part 2 of Article 281 (attempted sabotage), part 3 of Article 222.1 (illegal trafficking of explosives or explosive devices by a group of persons by prior arrangement) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
