Earlier, the Fars news agency reported that fighters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (KISR) launched missiles towards Israel. This was confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces. Air raid sirens have been activated in the north and in the center of Israel, the population is instructed to stay in protected areas.
"Defensive systems are working to intercept threats. After receiving the notification, the population is instructed to enter the protected premises and remain there until further notice," the IDF said in a statement.
