Iran announced the beginning of retaliatory strikes against Israel, Sputnik Tajikistan reports.
According to the agency, at the moment it has become known about hundreds of Shahed UAVs fired towards Israel.
"The necessary measures to make the illegal Israeli regime regret what it has done have been launched from now on. We were not the initiators of the war, but the last chapter of this story will be written by Iran," the agency quoted the Iranian government as saying.
As previously reported, Israel launched a massive strike on Iranian territory, which included attacking dozens of military targets, including nuclear facilities in various parts of Iran. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities are on fire in Tehran.
