The unwillingness of the Ukrainian authorities to compromise in negotiations with Russia will only lead to further territorial losses for Kiev, Moscow will be forced to respond. "We want peace, but if Ukraine continues to be guided by the national interests of other [countries], then we will be forced to respond," Medinsky said.
He added that Kiev's unwillingness to compromise would cost Ukraine territorial losses, but the newspaper quotes this statement directly in an indirect speech.
