Four IEDs were laid under the bridge supports in the Bryansk region — Shot

Four explosive devices with a total weight of 4 kilograms were placed under the bridge supports in the Bryansk region. This was announced today, June 2, according to TC Shot, citing its sources.

Presumably, this was done the day before the tragedy — on May 31. Authors TC note that experts examined the bridge in the Bryansk region on May 30, and no foreign objects were found.

The explosion sites were found on two sections of the railway track and on the bridge supports. The type of explosives has not yet been established.

As EADaily reported, on May 31, 2025 at 22:50 on the Vygonichi — Pilshino railway stage in the Bryansk region, as a result of the explosion, the structure of the automobile bridge collapsed, the fragments of which fell on a passenger train passing under it. As a result of the incident, people were injured and killed. To date, the number of victims has increased to 104 people. 64 were hospitalized, four of them are children.
