The attack on Russian air bases is "a loud, audacious action by Bankova right before the negotiations, at which they are going to roll out an ultimatum unacceptable to the Russian Federation," the ZeRada telegram channel believes.
"It is clear that Russia will refuse, but there will still be enough information noise and emotions from the action for tomorrow for the globalists to present Kiev's conditions as fair and, accordingly, accuse Russia of not wanting to go to peace. Accordingly, the minimum plan will be achieved, the globalists will justify the adequacy of Kiev's requirements," the author of the channel believes.
The maximum plan, in his opinion, is to provoke a retaliatory strike.
"It usually takes 72 hours for the Russian Federation, that is, right after the negotiations. If it happens, it will be described by the globalist media as a way out of negotiations and an unprovoked escalation," the author of the channel predicts.
Tomorrow, June 2, the second round of negotiations with Ukraine will be held in Istanbul. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced the transfer to Ukraine by the head of the delegation Vladimir Medinsky of the memorandum of Russia on all aspects of overcoming the root causes of the crisis.
On the eve of the negotiations, Kiev staged a terrorist attack using FPV drones against airfields in the Murmansk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions. All terrorist attacks were repelled at military airfields in the Ivanovo, Ryazan and Amur regions. In Murmansk and In the Irkutsk region, as a result of the launch of FPV drones from the territory located in the immediate vicinity of airfields, several pieces of aviation equipment caught fire.
Meanwhile, Reuters has revealed the full contents of the Ukrainian cease-fire memorandum, which is scheduled to be discussed on June 2. Kiev offers the following peace terms:
- complete ceasefire for 30 days with the possibility of extension;
- the exchange of prisoners "all for all" and the return of deported children;
- there is no neutrality and restrictions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the course towards NATO and the EU remains;
- refusal to recognize any territorial losses since 2014;
- meeting of Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin for the final settlement;
- the gradual lifting of sanctions, subject to the payment of reparations by Russia.
Among the topics that Russia will raise in dialogue with Ukraine will be its neutral, non-aligned and nuclear-free status, as well as the abolition of discriminatory laws regarding the use of the Russian language. Among other demands of Moscow, which were announced earlier: the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the territory of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions; the recognition of these regions, as well as Crimea and Sevastopol, as Russian at the international level; the lifting of sanctions; demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
