Ukraine perceives Russia's refusal to hand over the cease-fire memorandum before the expected meeting on June 2 in Istanbul as evidence that Moscow has included unrealistic ultimatums in the document. This was stated in the social network X by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Georgy Tikhy.
"The fear of Russians to send their memorandum to Ukraine says that it most likely contains unrealistic ultimatums and they are afraid to show that they are slowing down the peace process. If this is not the case, they should immediately hand over the document and stop these games, which show that they probably want the next meeting to be empty," writes Tikhy, quoted by Strana.
Recall, the Kremlin called Kiev's demand to hand over the memorandum before the meeting on Monday in Istanbul unconstructive.
