Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin instructed to open a criminal case in connection with threats to the adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, who heads the Russian delegation at the negotiations on the settlement of the Ukraine of Vladimir Medinsky.
"In connection with the information that has appeared that the family of the adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Rostislavovich Medinsky is receiving threats from Ukrainian radicals, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed to initiate a criminal case," the official representative of the department Svetlana Petrenko said today, May 29.
She noted that the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia, in cooperation with the operational services, will take measures to identify the persons involved for their subsequent prosecution.
Recall that Moscow offered Kiev to hold talks in Istanbul on June 2. The Russian delegation headed by Vladimir Medinsky will present a memorandum on peaceful regulation to Ukraine on this day.
