Beijing considered unacceptable criticism from Ukraine regarding the participation of the honor guard of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) in the parade on Red Square on May 9.

According to the Chinese media holding Tencent, the corresponding statement was made by a representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, who gave three arguments in favor of the participation of Chinese soldiers.

Firstly, China continues to have respect for the heroes of the Second World War and the desire to protect their memory. This is all the more obvious against the background of the fact that it was China that suffered the greatest human losses in that war.

As a second argument, the representative of Chinese diplomacy called the fact that Russia and The PRC fought together against fascism and supported each other. He called the friendship between the two countries the heritage of peoples who have a common destiny.

And thirdly, Kiev's very criticism of the PLA's participation in the Moscow Victory Parade is "an outrage on history and victory in The Second World War" and challenges justice, concluded the representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, EADaily reported that according to Western experts, China benefits from the Ukrainian conflict. Therefore, the United States can interest Beijing in resolving the crisis only by offering an important role in the restoration of Ukraine.
