Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Gusev thanked President Ilham Aliyev for refusing to travel to Moscow to participate in events in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He expressed his approval on the social network X.
"Thank you very much, Mr. President," Gusev wrote for some reason in English, adding to the tweet the flags of Ukraine and Uzbekistan, "fastened" with a handshake.
Translated into Russian — "Thank you very much, Mr. President."
So he commented on the corresponding message of the Azerbaijani presidential administration.
As EADaily reported, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will not attend the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9. This was stated by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. Ushakov told this to Life journalist Alexander Yunashev.
