In Kharkov, as a result of a car bombing, a well-known UAV designer Andrei Gumennoy was killed. This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.
Humennoy was the chief designer of the aviation scientific and technical society of the KNC, writes the newspaper "Strana".
It is noted that "at the same time, the source of this information is still unclear, there is no information on Umerov's official accounts in social networks."
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine denies that Umerov made statements about the death of the designer of the UAV Andrei Gumenny in Kharkov, adds Strana.
"The Minister of Defense did not make such statements. Please note: the minister does not have official Telegram accounts," the Defense Ministry said.
It should be noted that from the message of the Ministry of Defense it is not entirely clear what exactly is fake — the fact of Gumenny's liquidation or what Umerov said about it.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Design Bureau of the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant and the key developer of the Krasukha electronic warfare systems, Yevgeny Rytikov, was killed. This was reported by the telegram channel Mash.
It is noted that Rytikov's car was blown up with an IED near the border with Ukraine.
