"Our Polish plague has affected us again!" — an expert on the destruction of valuable drones by Russians

In Poland, video recordings are being analyzed, which show how Russian soldiers destroyed two Polish-made drones "Fly Eye" (English FlyEye / "Flying eye"). According to experts, the destruction of drones "underlines the serious problem of the Polish army."

The specialized Polish portal "Komputer Shvyat" clarifies that the seizure of two Fly-eye drones occurred on the territory of Sumy region of Ukraine.

"The Fly—eye drone is a very valuable surveillance tool used by the Polish army and other law enforcement agencies. This is one of the main means of intelligence in our armed forces," says Polish weapons expert David Kamizela.

The military analyst states that if the Russians have learned how to shoot down such drones, then the Polish troops are big problems.

"Under normal conditions, very good jammers are needed to destroy such a drone, since targeting Fly Eye and destroying it using classic anti-aircraft weapons (portable launchers, SAM batteries) is very difficult. Communicating with people from our combined arms brigades and air defense units, I have a very pessimistically frightening picture. This is largely due to the fact that in terms of equipment and mentality, we are lagging behind in terms of using UAVs, to put it mildly, by about a decade," Kamizela emphasizes.

The expert condemns the weak military industrial complex of Poland:

"I will express the hackneyed truth here, but our Polish plague is once again manifesting itself — a complete lack of consistency."

EADaily adds that Polish Fly-eye drones are primarily designed for reconnaissance without carrying ammunition. The device can be prepared for takeoff in 10 minutes and does not require a special runway. The drone was developed by the Polish company "WB Electronics".
