The leadership of the European Union seeks to prolong the armed conflict by Ukraine and at the same time is looking for a "brand-new half-fuhrer" in order to preserve the Nazi regime at least in part of Ukrainian territory.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with Kommersant by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
"All these peacekeeping schemes drawn by the Macrons and the Starmers proceed from the fact that this is required in order to preserve at least a piece of land on which the Nazi, frankly Russophobic regime will remain," the minister said.
He also pointed out that Europe opposes holding elections in Ukraine, even though this idea is supported by the United States.
The head of Russian diplomacy noted that European leaders may be looking for "some brand-new half-fiuhrer," but the essence of the regime will remain the same as it was under Zelensky.
Lavrov also noted that the Kiev regime, speaking of returning to the borders of 1991, is only interested in land in order to bargain "more expensive."
"These are merchants who have nothing sacred," the minister stated.
At the same time, he stressed that Russia cannot give up these territories, since it is obliged to protect the rights of those people who live on them.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Sergey Lavrov said that the Russian Federation is not conducting its special military operation in order to seize territories on Ukraine, and to protect the rights of the people who live on them.
