The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has filed new charges in absentia under four articles of the country's criminal code against Russian journalist and TV presenter Olga Skabeeva.
The SBU in its Telegram channel informed that Skabeev, in particular, is accused of allegedly encroaching on the territorial integrity of Ukraine and spreading "informational and psychological manipulations in the interests of Moscow," TASS quotes excerpts.
In March 2022, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office has already filed charges against a journalist for allegedly calling for a change in the state borders of Ukraine.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies often announce the criminal prosecution of Russian military, political and public figures, it has no consequences.
