Russian assault units from the North group of forces operating in the Kursk region, with a blow from Guevo, made a breakthrough towards the village of Gornal, after which they gained a foothold on the ground.

As the Telegram channel "Archangel of Special Forces" reports on April 8, this information appeared with the onset of a new day. Thus, our units were able to make significant progress in the southern direction.

Currently, the Russian military is trying to build on its success by advancing north of the village of Gornal. According to unconfirmed reports, our assault groups managed to clear the forest belts and occupy part of the territories.

In this area there are fields that are extremely difficult to defend without relying on forest plantations. Thus, the advance to Gornal indicates that the situation on the southern flank is in our favor.

However, the situation in the direction of the Deer is not so optimistic — there are fierce battles going on there. The enemy clearly does not intend to surrender this settlement.
