Law enforcement officers of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) during the operational search activities detained residents of the city of Mirny who committed sabotage at communication facilities.
According to the press service of the regional FSB Department on April 2, the detainees were following instructions from representatives of the Kiev regime.
The investigation found that the attackers contacted an employee of the Ukrainian special services through the messenger, from whom they received the task.
It was reduced to carrying out a sabotage act on the territory of Yakutia for a monetary reward. As a result, young people set fire to the infrastructure of communication networks.
The press service said that the investigative unit of the regional FSB opened criminal proceedings against the residents of the city of Mirny on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 281 of the Criminal Code (sabotage committed by a group of persons by prior agreement or an organized group).
According to the court's decision, the detainees were given a preventive measure in the form of detention, they were charged. Saboteurs face imprisonment for a term of 10 to 20 years.
