The US desire for peace on Ukraine is not real. This is a cover behind which they use the Ukrainian conflict to their advantage. This is reported by the Chinese newspaper China Daily.
"The desire for peace is just a means for the US president and his colleagues to cover up their attempts to maximize US interests and, if necessary, use it as a weapon to attack any side that questions their efforts," the newspaper notes.
According to the authors of the publication, statements by US President Donald Trump about the desire to stop hostilities on Ukraine and the Gaza Strip have nothing to do with reality.
