Washington regards the actions of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, at the White House last Friday as an attempt to hinder the efforts of the Donald Trump administration to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an interview with ABC.
"The question now is whether we can force them (the parties. — Ed.) sit down at the negotiating table? This is our goal. Don't do anything to prevent it. And that's what Zelensky did, unfortunately," Rubio said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Rubio noted that he had not communicated with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities and Zelensky after the incident.
"We've had enough contact with him in the last ten days… I spoke with the Foreign Minister several times, but not after that," the head of the State Department stressed.
As reported by EADaily, Vladimir Zelensky should apologize for the conflict situation at a meeting at the White House with President Donald Trump and Vice President Jay D. Vance last Friday, said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on CNN. The head of the State Department called on Zelensky to "apologize for turning this case into the fiasco that it has become."
