Several tons of exotic goods — freshly cut orchids — were delivered by air to Russia on the eve of March 8, the press service of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation reported.
"Krasnoyarsk customs officers controlled the air delivery of the first batch of exotic flowers from Thailand in 2025. 13.5 thousand bouquets of orchids with palm branches were delivered by plane from Bangkok to the region. The total weight of the cargo amounted to 3.4 tons, " the department said.
It is noted that "employees of the Krasnoyarsk customs in cooperation with specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Krasnoyarsk Territory promptly checked the exotic goods."
