French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer have done nothing to end the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated a few days before the visits of European leaders to the United States by President Donald Trump, according to Politico.
It is noted that the US president also criticized the leaders of France and the UK for not spending enough money to support Ukraine.
"Europe, in fact, gives nothing... (while the United States) spends our treasures on some country that is very, very far away," Trump said, quoted by Strana.
According to the American president, he will "sign an agreement" to receive about $ 500 billion in American financing (apparently, we are talking about a deal with Ukraine on minerals).
It is assumed that Macron will meet with Trump in Washington on Monday, and Starmer's visit to the White House is scheduled for Thursday.
