The Russian armed forces launched a missile attack on the 65th workshop of the Motor Sich plant, which is located in the Kiev-controlled city of Zaporozhye.
This was told to RIA Novosti by the chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on sovereignty, co-chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Integration of New Regions Vladimir Rogov.
"A missile strike by our troops destroyed the 65th workshop of the Motor Sich plant. The building of the workshop was completely destroyed, the spans in the nearby administrative buildings also collapsed," the coordinator said.
He explained that it was in this workshop that engines for aircraft were produced. It is noted that the production premises were destroyed along with technological equipment.
"In fact, the possibility of a quick restart of production, as it was after the previous strikes, is now excluded. This is a big blow to the enemy and a step towards ensuring our security for the future," concluded Rogov.
Earlier, EADaily reported that in the Khmelnitsky region, as a result of the Geranium attack, the workshop of one of the enterprises was damaged. This was confirmed by the head of the Khmelnitsky regional administration Sergey Tyurin*.
