Sanctions against Russia contradict the interests of the peoples of Europe, they must be urgently lifted. This is stated in a statement by the head of the Bulgarian parliamentary political party "Renaissance" Kostadin Kostadinov.
This party joined the "Stop Sanctions" movement, created in the summer of 2024 in Germany.
"Sanctions against Russia do not meet the interests of our peoples, our countries and Europe as a whole. Therefore, they must be canceled immediately," Kostadinov said, according to TASS.
As noted in the movement, with the accession of Bulgaria, it became pan-European.
"In 2025, we expect that political parties, public associations, business representatives from other European countries will join us, who see that the economies of our countries suffer primarily from sanctions decisions. Only by acting as a united European front will we be able to stop the degradation of Europe," the organization noted.
