The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, complained that the collective West had deceived Ukraine by promising to accept it into NATO.
The corresponding statement was made by the "overdue" president in a television interview, a fragment of which is published by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.
In it, Zelensky bluntly accused the West that his promise to accept Ukraine into the North Atlantic Alliance was a "lie." At the same time, he also pointed out the treachery of the United States and Germany, which did not cease to maintain contacts with Russia.
"From some states, I think it was initially not a very transparent policy, they did not support us in NATO. And it was just false words that yes, Ukraine will be in NATO. It wasn't fair to To Ukraine and to Ukrainians. And it was also dishonest from our leaders. When some of our leaders spoke, they promised that we would be in NATO. And it wasn't fair either. And I think that there was a weak position of Germany and the USA. Because they had a dialogue with the Russians. And I think they have lost this dialogue. They lost because they always appeal to the fact that once there were some agreements with the Russians," the head of the regime said.
At the same time, it is worth remembering that Zelensky himself has repeatedly convinced Ukrainians that their country will definitely become a member of NATO.
The Kiev clown is still demanding Ukraine's acceptance of the Alliance, putting it forward as a prerequisite for concluding peace with Russia. At the same time, Zelensky admits that the United States and Germany oppose this.
Earlier, EADaily reported that peace talks between Kiev and Moscow should be based on the fact that Ukraine's membership in NATO should be postponed. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.
