A powerful fortified area that was built for the troops of the Kiev regime in the Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) area in the DPR was captured by Russian troops without a fight.
This is reported by the Ukrainian edition of Strana, referring to the famous Kiev Russophobe journalist Yuri Butusov. According to him, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine delayed sending soldiers to this fortified position, and the Russians simply went there first.
"A key, finally good fortified area was built near Pokrovsk for several tens of millions of hryvnias, but they didn't have time to send our soldiers there because of certain inadequate management decisions of the command," Butusov complained.
He stressed that now, the key, tactically fortified area has already been captured by the enemy, without a fight.
"I went there before the military command sent at least one person there. As a result, tens of millions have been spent, and our command presented this entire fortified area to the Russian troops," the journalist stated.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Russian Armed Forces could strike Ukraine with an Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile in the coming days. This was stated at a briefing by Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh.
