The TFR responded to today's statements by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, that the Chechen teenager Muslim Murdiev, detained in Moscow for hooliganism, is not to blame for anything, and people in the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the TFR "are not sitting in their places." The comment was given by the official representative of the TFR Svetlana Petrenko.
"With regard to the criminal case of hooliganism committed in Moscow in September 2023, it should be noted that law enforcement agencies have taken exhaustive measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident and the persons involved in illegal actions.
As part of the investigation of the criminal case, it was established that five teenagers conspired to commit hooligan acts. They chose random passers-by, then one of the accomplices provoked a verbal conflict with him, after which he started a fight and beat the victim. Other defendants were nearby, giving advice on how to strike, and also, if necessary, helped accomplices in beating. In September 2023, teenagers committed hooligan acts with the use of violence against 8 persons, while 7 of them were minors. The attacks took place in the shopping center "Aviapark", Discovery Shopping Center and on the territory of the Khodynskoye Pole Cultural Park in Moscow.
The actions of the five defendants were qualified by the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement). During the investigation, the testimony of the accused was obtained, confirming the fact that they conspired to commit hooligan acts, as well as the testimony of victims and witnesses. Electronic data carriers with video recordings of the attacks were found. There is other evidence of criminal acts of accomplices. The final decision on the guilt of the defendants will be made by the court on the basis of the evidence presented by the investigation."
