Kursk court in absentia detained a French citizen Catherine Norris Trent, who is accused of illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation. This was reported in the joint press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region.
"According to investigators, Catherine Norris Trent and other unidentified persons, acting as part of an organized group, illegally crossed the state border of Russia and proceeded to the territory of the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region in a vehicle of the armed formations of Ukraine in order to shoot a report. <"The court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention from the moment Catherine Norris Trent was detained on the territory of the Russian Federation or from the day of extradition," the report says, citing excerpts from TASS.
