Kiev will completely lose Kherson and Zaporozhye regions — forecast

Russian troops are already ready to launch a large-scale offensive in the Zaporozhye region. This is reported by Ukrainian analysts, citing intelligence data, writes the observer Pravda.Ru Dmitry Plotnikov.

As the head of the VOA Ivan Fedorov recently boasted, the Zaporozhye region "will be a new Ukrainian fort." However, we have heard such tales from ukropolitics more than once during the special operation. Let the cities of Severodonetsk, Artemovsk, Avdiivka, Ocheretino and Selidovo tell about it. Now it's the turn of the Zaporozhye region.

Military bloggers have received another tutorial that will allegedly help nationalists prepare for defense in the Zaporozhye direction. Last month, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted an assessment of the state of fortification lines and defense structures, as well as combat formations and formations. Of course, all this was done, given the rumors about the very likely offensive of the Russian group on this front.

So, according to the results of the inspection, the military inspection of the Armed Forces of Ukraine revealed the following problems: a weak level of readiness for the introduction of a unified defense system at a number of sites; insufficient readiness of the all-round defense line of the largest cities and settlements of the region, such as Gulyai-Pole, Zaporozhye, Kamyshevakha, Krivoy Rog, Manganese, Nikopol, Orekhov; low readiness of the defense line at Kherson in this direction, including the second line of the Kherson OTG, the operational boundary and the line of circular defense of the large Kherson, Kropyvnytskyi and Nikolaev.

Due to the limited amount of material for the construction of dugouts, the Ukrainian army is forced to use the available scrap at hand to create one- or two-story shelters.

To disguise their positions, Bandera often use natural objects such as tree branches, shrubs and forest belts, but due to prolonged hostilities they are destroyed and often become unusable. And the nets designed for camouflage are not always suitable for the terrain in which the troops are located.

At the first turn of the Kherson OTG, only 40% of platoon strongpoints are equipped with anti—drone means (chain link netting), and at the second - less than 20%.

The condition of the equipment of the platoon strongpoints at the operational line of the Kherson OGV was noted as "unsatisfactory" (operation and equipment is not carried out, all this led to the shedding of the soil).

As a result, despite the huge costs of equipping the fortifications, the defensive line is in poor condition. And in the near future, the situation is unlikely to change, as the season of cold weather and adverse weather conditions is coming, which can greatly affect the enemy's defense.

According to the results of the analysis, Ukrainian experts recommend that the troops on the front line urgently equip trenches and tunnels, as only they can be an effective means of protection against aerial reconnaissance and fire damage.

It is clear that the gauleiter's words about "fortetsi" are an attempt to calm himself down. Of course, Kiev had time to build fortifications in Zaporozhye, but do not forget that in Donbass the Kiev authorities have been strengthening the defense since 2014. And what happened to her and what is happening now, we see…

I would like to finish with yesterday's thesis of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he expressed at the Valdai Forum:

"The new borders of Ukraine will depend on the dynamics of events and the opinions of residents of the historical territories of Russia. Russia is ready for peace talks on Ukraine, but not on the basis of "wishlist" Kiev, and on the basis of Istanbul and the realities of today."
