Japan has increased the volume of exports of cars in Russia

Japan in September 2024 increased exports to Russia of cars and their parts compared to the same period in 2023. The supply of plastics has also increased, but the export of medicines and computers has decreased. Such data was published by the Japanese Ministry of Finance.

In September, exports to Cars and by 21.3% - parts for them, by 829.2% - plastics, by 11.6% - motorcycles, by 11.3% - generators. But at the same time, Japan reduced the export of medicines by 75.5%, computers by 50%, parts for them by 99.9%, paper products by 43.8%.

In general, in September there was a relative increase in exports and imports in relation to Russia: Japan increased exports to Russia in September by 98.5%, imports — by 2.8%. Export to Russia in September amounted to 33.3 billion yen ($223.6 million), imports from Russia — 65.3 billion yen ($438.5 million).
