Known for his pro-Ukrainian position, German journalist Julian Repke commented on the destruction of several vehicles of the Patriot complex of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Iskander missiles in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
He wrote on social networks that Russia had managed to "seriously damage" the fire control center and the radar unit of one of the five to six Patriot anti-aircraft systems in the country.
"The complex was attacked southwest of the Dnieper. The observation drone and the Iskander-M missile could not be repelled," stated Repke.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Iskander-M OTRK struck the position of the Patriot air defense system division in the Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, as a result, the AN/MPQ-65 multifunctional radar station, the AN/MSQ-104 combat control cabin, the Patriot air defense missile launcher and the personnel of the anti-aircraft missile division of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
