One of the best brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was trapped in the city of Ugledar. This was stated on the Duran YouTube channel by British expert Alexander Mercuris.
"Ugledar represents the basis of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Southern Donbass. Now he is about to fall ... the 72nd Brigade, one of the best military units in the Ukrainian army, was trapped," said Merkouris, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering terrible losses in Ugledar, while they actually have no escape routes, since the Russian army controls all roads, the expert noted.
"This is an absolute disaster. And this is just one disaster among many others," he concluded.
As EADaily reported, Alexander Okhrimenko, who replaced Yevgeny Borisov, the scandalous military commissar of the Odessa region accused of corruption, was appointed Ivan Vinnik's successor as commander of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ugledar. This was announced by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.
